K1 is a revolutionary office lunch platform, built to solve a simple but pervasive problem: how to feed a team with wildly different tastes, dietary needs, and lunch preferences, while still offering variety, convenience, and zero fuss. Instead of dozens of takeout apps or messy group orders, K1 offers a unified ordering platform where everyone picks what they want, and the office gets one clean delivery time. Motif took the energetic branding Mann Sales created, and turned it into a seamless, easy-to-understand digital experience built around teamwork, variety, and simplicity.
messaging Approach
Because K1’s blue-ocean strategy is in solving the “work-lunch chaos” problem, the messaging needed to make the benefit crystal-clear: “No more lunch fights. One order. One delivery. Everyone gets what they want.” Copy walks the user through the pain points (too many apps, dietary conflicts, missed deliveries), then shows how K1 simplifies lunch with no minimums, no fees, and full flexibility. It's all about speaking to teams who want lunch to be something effortless, not a headache.
user experience & visuals
We carried forward K1’s bold, punchy visual identity and layered it over a clean UX. The site organizes restaurant options clearly, simplifies the group-order process, and guides users through signup, ordering, and delivery in a few clicks. Visuals and copy work hand-in-hand to show that this isn’t “another food-delivery checkout”; it’s a team-centric, stress-free lunch solution.
